- Lead Product Designer (UX/UI)
- Please provide a UX/UI design portfolio with examples of work and case studies
- Key Skills
- Great communicator, 80% of your time will be spent on design and 20% on stakeholder and client management
- Previous experience in designing complicated enterpriselevel workflows
- Experienced in conducting user interviews and user testing (inperson and remote)
- Passionate about both UX and UI design able to rationalise and debate the use of different UX techniques and debate interaction design patterns
- Participate or run workshops/walkthrough sessions using design sprint and design thinking methodologies
- Gathering indepth insights into the user's needs, motivations and organising content to reflect this across multiple platforms
- Be able to work through complex problems and propose an appropriate solution
- Be proactive in solving problems effectively, using multiple sources of factual information
- Ensuring all outputs adhere to relevant policies and standards
- Constantly push for a usercentred approach while delivering to business requirements
- Able to design to WCAG 2.1 AA standards
- Indepth knowledge of web, desktop and mobile interface best practices
- Experience with guiding the evolution of an existing design system
- Able to lead and mentor other members of the team
Be highly proficient in the following design software:
- Figma
- Sketch
- Axure
- Based in the London, hybrid working at Pinner's Hall 23 days a week
- Be able to give accurate estimations of work
- Delivering on time and to budget
- High quality of work produced to meet project requirements
- Ensuring conformity to any strategy or approach
- Identifying opportunities to improve the end product
- Understanding project delivery methodologies including Agile
- Have a working knowledge of practices and opportunities across the digital spectrum which are applicable to a client's requirements
- A thorough knowledge of the design production process and procedures
- Handson experience in working with and handing over to development teams
- Being wellread on UX standards (Nielson Norman Group, Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design Guidelines, A List Apart, etc.)
- Accessibility expertise (WCAG 2.1 AA and future standards)
- An understanding of the latest technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI or any other designrelated field preferred.
