Description

In this role as a multi skilled operative, you will work across different phases of a regeneration and retrofit project.

As well as building your skills and gaining knowledge in the following areas; Painting, Plastering and Fire Stopping.

Working under supervision as your skill base increases you will undertake the following:


  • Preparing walls and ceilings ready for paint such as scraping and sanding
  • Mixing materials and painting various surfaces in accordance to instructions
  • Using multiple tools to measure and cut materials
  • Installing materials/products as per specific manufacturer's guidelines
  • Mixing plastering materials
  • Installing structural protection to the framework of a building, such as intumescent spray and boarding systems.
  • Installing fire seals, cavity barriers, mechanical closers and other fire resistant products.

Salary:
From £10.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Gateshead, Tyne and Wear: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
