What we do:


Here at Formosa Group our team of award-winning sound designers, supervisors, sound editorial and re-recording mixers deliver custom sound design, sound editing, ADR, sound mixing and sound deliverables.


What we need:


We're looking for an experienced and highly organised Scheduling Coordinator, who is ready to join a fast-paced environment and bring their exemplary communication, contacts and administrative skills to this award-winning company.


What we need you to do:

  • To assist in building quotes for projects within our rate cards, monitor and liaise with productions to ensure the smooth running of bidding process
  • Work closely with clients, talent and management to schedule projects and studio space on scheduling software based on the requirements of the package
  • Collaborate with sister company on joint picture and sound projects
  • Build up and maintain good relationships with all contacts through facilitating regular dialogue, discussion and sharing of ideas/leads
  • Keep schedules consistently up to date with new production timelines and update relevant staff
  • Assist in contracting freelance crew for projects
  • Work closely with sound teams to ensure design, tracklay, mix and delivery schedules are viable for the team and track overages.
  • Monitor changing production requirements to identify potential schedule changes ahead of time
  • To manage your own assigned projects
- continually and clearly communicate plans & revisions to staff, production, freelancers

  • Ensuring booking policies are adhered to
  • ADR booking
  • Assisting management with ad hoc admin including diary management, reservations, event management, facilities management and admin associated with build/ refurbishment projects

What Experience we're looking for:
-
3yrs minimum experience of working in an administrative/organisational role specifically in post production:

  • Working knowledge of ScheduAll and/or Xytech
  • Working Knowledge of sound delivery processes and specs for film/ broadcast
  • Demonstrable interest in film and broadcast media and postproduction sound
  • Experience scheduling projects in a professional media context
  • Exemplary communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Highly organised, including good time management
  • Ability to juggle/prioritise tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • A team player
  • A lateral approach to resolving issues
  • A selfstarter who can jump in and fix issues when they arise with a solution driven approach
  • An expert knowledge of Microsoft Office software
