The Position
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Finance Assistant to join our small, friendly finance office in a varied role, to assist in the following:
- Recording daily cash/credit card takings on spread sheet and reconciling to till
- Preparing cash for banking
- Processing Purchase Invoices and posting to Sage 50
- Raising Sales Invoices
- Credit Control
- Petty Cash reconciliation and analysis
- Dealing with customer & supplier queries
- Ad Hoc duties as required
Requirements:
- Sage 50 experience preferred
- IT literacy with competency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- A team player
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to communicate oral and written information effectively
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to use initiative
Job Details
- Full Time, Permanent
- 20 days annual leave
- Salary £19,000 £23,000, depending on experience
Salary:
£21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Solihull, B92 8LJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- accounts and finance: 1 year (required)
