Description

The Position
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated Finance Assistant to join our small, friendly finance office in a varied role, to assist in the following:

  • Recording daily cash/credit card takings on spread sheet and reconciling to till
reports

  • Preparing cash for banking
  • Processing Purchase Invoices and posting to Sage 50
  • Raising Sales Invoices
  • Credit Control
  • Petty Cash reconciliation and analysis
  • Dealing with customer & supplier queries
  • Ad Hoc duties as required

Requirements:


  • Sage 50 experience preferred
  • IT literacy with competency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • A team player
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate oral and written information effectively
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to use initiative

Job Details

  • Full Time, Permanent
hrs, Monday to Friday

  • 20 days annual leave
  • Salary £19,000 £23,000, depending on experience
Strictly No Agencies.


Salary:
£21,000.00-£23,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Solihull, B92 8LJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- accounts and finance: 1 year (required)
