A UK major main construction and engineering contractor with over 100 years' experience in the build industry.
They have a vast portfolio of developments and have successfully delivered projects in excess of £4m+ which has allowed them to provide construction solutions to some of the world's most successful and enduring businesses.
The Projects
As an M&E Design Coordinator you will work closely with the design team on numerous projects including new build accommodation and commercial buildings across the North West.
You will review, negotiate and recommend during the approval / disapproval stages of design change orders and liaise with the wider team to ensure design and plans are adhered to.
Requirements:
For this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications as a minimum;
- A bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field is ideal but not essential
- Maintain the utmost confidentiality
- Selfmotivated, proactive, and driven
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Possess critical thinking and problemsolving capabilities
- Thrive in highpressure situations and meets tight deadlines
- Demonstrate initiative, working well both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all organisational levels in a fastpaced setting
- Previous experience of working on similar new build projects within the residential / commercial sector
- Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously, aligning with corporate, client, and project requirements, even with mínimal supervision

- Working with procurement and logistics
- Helping implement health and safety policies
- Working closely with the supply chain and clients
- Coordinating training sessions for staff on new projects
- Organising schedules for installations and maintenance
- Handling reports for defects and coordinating site surveys
- Tracking project progress to identify and resolve any issues that arise
- Ensuring projects finish on time, including system commissioning and testing
- Providing internal and clientfacing technical support, particularly for troubleshooting
