    Description

    Adult Safeguarding Social Worker

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Safeguarding Social Worker to join our team in Oxfordshire.

    This role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable adults, promoting their independence, well-being, and social inclusion.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assessments and Support Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized support plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
    • Safeguarding and Risk Management: Identify and respond promptly to safeguarding concerns, assess risks, and implement effective interventions to ensure safety and legal compliance.
    • Direct Work with Clients: Provide emotional support, advocacy, and access to services, as well as facilitate group sessions to enhance social skills.
    • Collaboration and Multi-Agency Working: Liaise with healthcare professionals, police, and other stakeholders to advocate for clients' rights and interests.
    • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

    Requirements

    • Qualifications: Degree in Social Work or equivalent, registration with Social Work England, and experience in adult social care.
    • Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant legislation and policies.
    • Personal Qualities: Compassionate approach, strong assessment skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
