Assistant Financial Planner - London:

Our client is looking for an Assistant Financial Planner to join their team in London.

Job purpose

To support the company in delivering a high quality, independent service to clients
To obtain comprehensive experience and training with a view to becoming a qualified financial planner

Administrative:
Ensuring client files are up to date and in order
Updating back office systems (Adviser Office)
Assisting financial planners:
Data gathering to assist with the production of comprehensive net worth statements and investment recommendations
Assist with the drafting of reports to ensure that they are produced to a high quality and in a timely manner
Preparing for and minute taking for client and prospect meetings
Gaining exposure to the full investment advice process
Completing ongoing training following a structured learning and exam programme with the aim of achieving a Diploma in Financial Planning with the Chartered Institute of Insurance (CII)
Acquiring knowledge of company procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance
