Description
Assembles and reviews data in supporting economic studies and analyses. Supports empirical economic research that address a wide range of economic topics of interest to Vanguard clients.


In this role, you will:


  • Gathers data, writes, debugs, and executes econometric programs in support of empirical economic research under the guidance of senior analysts.
  • Provides data, recommendations, and key inputs to support econometric analyses and financial research toward white papers and client presentations. Supports the drafting of research reports and determines the best way to display research findings.
  • Participates in research meetings to analyze research results and collaborate on developing new research projects.
  • Collects, reviews, and summarizes the research and investment management literature on specific economic topics.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

What it takes:


  • Up to five years' experience as an Economist.
  • Track record of highquality economic research
  • Strong understanding of economic theory, econometrics and modelling.
  • Bachelor's and master's degree in economics (or related quantitative discipline)
  • CFA preferred, PhD a bonus.
