We are recruiting for a

Administrator

(Supported Employment, Access to Work & Student Bursaries)

to join the bemix team

To start:
As soon as possible


This is a satisfying and supportive role and will offer someone a fantastic opportunity to join our dedicated admin team.

The Canterbury office is busy and full of hardworking individuals that are passionate about everything bemix.


We are striving to raise the aspirations of young people with learning difficulties and/or autism, together with their families and carers, demonstrating that work is possible and rewarding.


As an administrator you will effectively manage and organise the funding for our organisation with occasional site visits to check in with our young people.

You'll work closely with the finance administrator regarding invoicing, access to work and our supported employment programme.


Hours:
Part time - between 20 and 25 hours per week to be worked across 4 or 5 days. Working hours need to have the flexibility to respond to tight deadlines with extra hours.

Location:_Canterbury Innovation Centre, University of Kent site, Canterbury. With great facilities, including free parking, cafe, reliable local transport connections and lovely outside spaces to explore on breaks/lunch/walking supervision.

Salary and benefits:_£21,000 per annum, pro rata. _Along with generous 25 days annual leave pro rata plus 8 bank holidays + Contributory Pension Scheme option (5% of pay)_

  • Confident in making outgoing calls as and when asked/needed.
  • Optimistic, friendly and approachable.
  • Someone with proven, successful project management experience.
  • A good problem solver and take pride in making sure that all tasks and work is completed that fall into your areas of responsibility.
  • Confident in managing competing priorities.
  • A proactive organiser and able to motivate and organise others.
  • You are adept at spotting what needs to be done, with the vigour to do what it takes to keep bemix and the project you're working within thriving and operational.
  • You are able to present and communicate information in a way that is easy to understand and maintain confidentiality when required.
  • You are reliable and self motivated to work alongside a variety of people as well as independently.
