The marketing team has been at the forefront of this transformation with campaigns that reinforce our 'head and heart' brand positioning including content films that stands out from the crowd, best in class social media activity and market leading thoughtleadership webinars.

Our reputation with National Accounts is that of good service, helpful co-operation, and educational content to brokers.

Having recently been brought under the Barclays Group Plc group of companies (pending regulatory approval), we are looking forward tobeing able to create even more solution led mortgages for to help consumers in ever evolving, and growing specialist mortgages sector.


Overall Purpose of Job


This is a wide-reaching role intended to drive awareness and consideration among our broker audience through National Accounts and key partners, using their channels to promote our brand, products, and services to broaden Kensington's competitive advantagewithin the specialist mortgage category.

This will be done predominantly through events, both physical and via our market-leading webinar series.

You will be responsible for the promotion, hosting, budget management, and collateral related to all such events, both internally ran by Kensington andexternally attended by our sales support team.


The role reports to the Senior Marketing Manager, who in turn reports to the Head of Brand Marketing, which reflects the flat structure of our organisation and provides the opportunity to develop and the role within the team.

This role is best suited toan ambitious self-starter, comfortable with managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.


This role is a 12 months Fixed Term Contract

Key Accountabilities

Event Management

  • Maintain the events schedule, including cost of event, staffing and merchandise requirements, to ensure Kensington is strategically represented at relevant industry, partner, and other relevant events.
  • Control and manage the budget for events, liaising with the Sales and National Accounts teams to ensure any committed activities are affordable and paid for.

  • Manage Kensington Thought Leadership events, including all elements such as venue management, spend, communications strategy and results.
  • Manage the delivery of Kensington webinarseries, including not limited to; creative, communications strategy, recording, hosting and content creation.
  • Manage all merchandise and collateral, including bespoke or dualbranded, for events and key accounts.

Key Partner Marketing

  • Nurture direct relationships with key partners to capitalise on paid and free opportunities in their digital publications.
  • Support the National Accounts team as a marketing representative to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to further promote Kensington.
  • Support the creation of the annual National Accounts strategy and deliver through events (as per section above) and content (such as articles and blog posts).
  • Align the key partner marketing activity with the overall marketing strategy to ensure consistency of message throughout all channels.

General

  • Management of budget allocation ensuring full compliance with the company budget processes and that all jobs are completed within agreed budget levels.
  • Work closely with the National Accounts team to drive Kensington Thought Leadership credentials and solidify us as the brand to watch.
  • Work closely with the whole marketing team to ensure integration and consistency of messaging and joined up reporting to better optimise the content through all channels.
  • Monitor competitor activity and recommend best practices across your areas of expertise.
  • Management of multiple business relationships, ensuring third parties remain compliant, paid and delivering as expected.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills

  • 3+ years in event management experience
  • Previous use of virtual event platform, for example GoToWebinar, ideally as a host
  • Knowledge of the mortgage industry preferable although not mandatory, particularly an awareness of National Accounts
