We are currently recruiting for a Early Years Teaching Assistant to join the support staff team of a fantastic local Primary School in Thornton Cleveleys.

The role will be supporting and working with a child with Autism, no behavioural needs, however, as the child is lower ability there will be elements of personal care.

The child is also non-verbal and communicates through sign language and pictures, this is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain mainstream primary school experience whilst making a different to the childs life.

Teaching Assistant | Job Specification
- have experience working with children with SEND on both a 1:1 basis or within the general classroom environment
- experience supporting children with moderate to severe SEND needs including autism, ADHD, behavioural, social and emotional learning difficulties, speech and language needs
- knowledge of the Early Years, KS1, KS2 curriculum
- confident in using ICT to support children
- knowledge of teaching phonics and early mathematics
