Personal Care Assistant


Duties:


  • Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences
  • Support clients in medication management, reminding them to take prescribed medications
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry
  • Accompany clients to appointments or outings, providing companionship and assistance as needed
  • Document and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to help others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes or facilities
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening

Job Type:
Zero hours contract


Salary:
£11.00-£13.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • English not required

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Cheshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:


  • Care home: 1 year (preferred)
  • Home care: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
