This is a hybrid role, offering a blend of remote work and in-office collaboration, providing you with the flexibility and work-life balance you desire.

You will need to attend the office twice a fortnight to either Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Cambridge, Nottingham offices.

  • As a Billing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes. You will collaborate closely with various teams within the finance department, as well as other departments across the organization. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be vital in managing billing data, generating invoices, and handling customer queries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the finance team to accurately process billing information.
  • Generate and distribute invoices to clients promptly and accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with billing policies, regulations, and clientspecific requirements.
  • Handle billing discrepancies and customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain uptodate and accurate billing records and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to billing activities.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance billing efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in billing, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to spot and rectify errors.
  • Proficient in using billing software and other relevant tools (e.g., Excel, accounting software).
