An innovative manufacturer to recruit a Quality Inspector into their team. Our client is transforming the manufacturing industry, combining technology and manufacturing to create a forward-thinking company.

Duties:

Provide quality support to the production team
Manual inspection work
Troubleshoot using in depth inspection techniques
Ensuring quality is maintained at a high standard
Support adherence to quality standards by approving materials, inprocess production, and finished parts
Responsible for operating and programming the CMM
Complete nonconformance reporting
Interpreting complex technical drawings

Experience required:

Quality inspection experience within precision engineering
Extensive knowledge with manual inspection and tools such as calipers, micrometers, etc
CMM programming experience
PC-DMIS experience
Carried out investigatory and rootcause work
Working knowledge of carrying out Optical Tracking inspections using 3D scanner
Familiarity with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR)
