Thanks to the continued success of our Off Site Build (OSB) department, we are growing and investing in our administration team.

We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic, confident and motivated Office Administration Account Assistant to join the OSB team.

The role


As the OSB Office Administration Account Assistant, you will work as part of our in-house OSB team and assist with daily administration, financial controls, and data input to help us deliver equipment for the Mech, Elec and ICA projects team working on both our water treatment and water recycling centres.


The OSB Office Administration Account Assistant role is typically a support function to the OSB Team but is crucial for providing the link between the manufacturing and accounts teams.

Liaising with other internal departments and commercial teams will also be a key aspect of the role.

Working closely with the OSB Manager, your duties will include:

  • coordinating daily financial tasks, processing invoices, compiling weekly times sheets and maintaining a digital record of financial documents
- assisting in the preparation of monthly management reports
- the general administration of office duties - scanning, photocopying, printing and collating documents, as well as filing (hard copies and electronic copies)
- undertaking office management duties, such as maintaining the internet connection and printer, while also monitoring office supplies
- assisting with logístical needs, such as booking and managing deliveries, which involves various systems, assisting stores when receiving goods, checking in deliveries, updating the stock control system and filing delivery paperwork
- assisting in investigating and resolving supplier and QS/internal customer queries
- liaising with suppliers to progress orders, delivery dates and ensure correct costs are allocated to each project or product.
- coordinating monthly financial tasks with the financial management team to optimise workflow
- maintaining an organised and comfortable office environment, ordering office supplies and updating inventory.


What do I need?
We are seeking a highly enthusiastic and passionate Office Administration Account Assistant with a minimum of two years' experience.

Additionally, you should have some proven knowledge of low to mid-level accountancy, ideally working towards a bookkeeping qualification, with experience to cover basic book-keeping tasks.


A working knowledge of accounting software would be a required for data inputting, ideally Unit4 ERP (formerly known as Agresso) but sage, QuickBooks NetSuite or similar would be acceptable.

Excellent IT skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages, such as Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

In particular, you will have good working knowledge of MS Excel and be able to confidently use Pivot Tables, VLookups and formulas.
