Giraffe CCTV is a rapidly growing technology, software, and industrial design company focused on the mobile security industry.

We supply products to security businesses and manufacturers in the USA and the UK, with plans to expand to Europe and the Middle East.

Our key products include the Edge Controller (our proprietary software), the Mobile Security Unit (a modular CCTV unit), and the Solar CCTV Tower (also used for industrial lighting).

We are seeking a motivated Production Trainee to join our small and dynamic team. You should have an interest in technology and a willingness to learn new skills. Whilst the role starts with repeat assembly, it will offer an opportunity to grow with Giraffe CCTV.

As a Production Trainee, you will receive training in assembling and producing our range of products, starting with the assembly of our Edge Controller product which is central to everything we do and for which we have significant demand.

You will learn about the production process, component requirements, and stock management. You will also gain knowledge in production planning, setting priorities, problem-solving, reporting, and effective communication with customers and colleagues.


Key Responsibilities:

• Assembling and producing our products.
• Reporting production issues to supervisors.
• Conducting testing and quality checks under supervision.
• Storing goods and materials properly.
• Complying with health and safety regulations.
• Maintaining cleanliness in work areas and the factory floor.
• Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Enthusiasm to work in an entrepreneurial and "cando" culture.
• Strong concentration and attention to detail.
• Demonstrable teamwork skills.
• Technical aptitude and manual dexterity, with an interest in technology, software, and electronics.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and information.
• Capability to manage workload independently.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
• Other qualifications are a plus.

Salary:
£16,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
