The Role


We are at a pivotal time within AMR, and we are growing at a rapid rate with many projects across the UK.

We are looking for a experienced Facades Manager to join our team and be able to manage and oversee projects, subcontractors and teams.


Operational responsibilities:


  • Manage and oversee projects from start until completion, ensuring the work is completed on time
  • Work on a wide variety of projects
  • Write RAMS to a high standard
  • Complete site inductions if required and ensure safety measures are being adhered too
  • Demonstrate experience in design review and working with the site team to clarify any queries prior to installation
  • Material management
  • Quality assurance checks and refer to methods of recording
  • Management of external subcontractors
  • Managing snagging works to completion and sign off by client ensuring installation is compliant with manufacturer and statutory compliance
  • Ensure the smooth running of material coordination between suppler and sites
  • Health and Safety procedures adhered to
  • Labour organisation
  • Attendance of meetings onsite and design meets
  • Oversee Quality Control
  • Cross check work against design
  • Adhere to budget constraints

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements:


  • Minimum 5 years? Industry experience
  • Experience of managing multiple teams
  • Experience in preformed aluminium installation
  • Experience with curtain walling installation
  • Good technical knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of curtain wall installation
  • Experience in using systems such as Fieldview
  • Experience as a facade manager on construction projects including preinstallation knowledge
  • Be able to work to deadlines
  • Ability to plan work in a strategic and methodological manner
  • Attention to detail
  • Be able demonstrate experience in working to deadlines and delivering works on time
  • Commercial understanding and ability to know and track and project costs
  • Organised and be able to plan
  • SSSTS/SMSTS
  • Full driving licence
  • Flexibility to travel
