We have an exciting new opportunity for a
Foodservice Category Coordinator to join our team.

This is a hybrid role based in Bristol (there is a minimum expectation to be in the office Tuesday - Thursday).

You will join us on either a
part or full time, permanent
basis, working a minimum of 28 hours per week and in return, you will receive a

About the Foodservice Category Coordinator role:

As our Foodservice Category Coordinator, you will be reporting to the Foodservice Development Team Lead and you will be responsible for the day-to-day reporting of category performance and Global community coordination.


You will be the data focal point for the Foodservice Category as well as supporting the Global Foodservice & Customer Journey Lead & Foodservice Development Team Lead in developing Category Playbooks and presentations, as and when required.


Key tasks of our Foodservice Category Coordinator:

  • Complete the induction programme provided by both FSC and Shell.
  • Follow a clear reporting structure to evaluate performance with agreed KPIs provided by the Foodservice Development Team Lead.
  • Support in the planning & construction of presentations to key stakeholders
  • Schedule Global Community calls every other month & support the Foodservice Development Team Lead in creating the agenda & content
  • Deliver Category Newsletters quarterly
  • Own monthly data integrity process
  • Produce monthly Performance Snapshot reports with the support of the Data Scientists Team
  • Analyse data and identify opportunities
  • Collate Shell Café Site list updates from all markets on a monthly basis
  • Support in the development of Category Playbooks as and when required
  • Be an advocate for the Shell Café brand (values, standards, market/category/product extensions)
  • Cover the Foodservice Development Team Lead when on leave or travelling for work, covering tasks such as:
  • Fortnightly calls with selected markets (28 Markets)
  • hours will need to be flexible to accommodate local time zones i.e. calls may start at 8am for markets in the East, and end at 6pm for markets in the West
  • Weekly catch ups with Foodservice & Foodtogo teams
  • Weekly catch up with

Global Lead:
Foodservice & Customer Journey to update on team and market progress/opportunities/challenges

  • Fortnightly (timings TBC) catch up with Senior Shell Team to update on project & market progress/opportunities/challenges
  • May need to be included in calls with Senior Shell Stakeholders where

Global Lead:
Foodservice & Customer Journey requires support

  • Weekly calls with Data Scientists Team on project updates and data requirements for 28 markets
  • Work closely alongside NFR Brand Manager for any Shell Café marketing/branding support for markets
  • Supporting

Global Lead:
Foodservice & Customer Journey in executing Category Strategy through various tasks such as developing support tools, hosting training/engagement or community calls, developing market strategy plans


What we're looking for in our Foodservice Category Coordinator:


Essential Experience:


  • Category management or marketing experience
  • Experience dealing with international customers
  • Retail/Food/Coffee Franchise industry experience

Skills & Behaviour:


  • Strong reporting skills.
  • Strong prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent IT skills (including Microsoft Office
  • Project, Word,
    Excel, and
    PowerPoint).
  • Highly numerate
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • A selfstarter
  • Able to work both independently and part of a team
  • Has a natural cando attitude and attention to detail
  • Shows initiative
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commercial mindset
  • Be flexible regarding working hours as the role involves dealing with customers in different time zones.
