About us:

The FES Group is an established and rapidly growing national company of Chartered Surveyors, Sustainability Consultants, Air Testers and Acoustic Consultants with offices in York, Edinburgh and London working with national and regional developers, contractors and architects.

About the role:

We are looking for a Junior Sustainability Consultant to join our team. We offer a friendly and supportive culture, along with great training, all from our lively York City Centre office.

The role would suit someone who is keen to start within the construction industry and be willing to work towards becoming an On-Construction Domestic Energy Assessor.

Duties include:

Assisting the Sustainability Consultants with their daytoday duties
Using software to model houses and buildings
Assisting with the production of As Built SAPs & EPCs
Updating time sensitive administrative documents and ensure these are provided to clients/uploaded to the relevant online portals
Liaising effectively and professionally with clients regarding their projects
Be willing to work towards OCDEA Elmhurst accreditation
Sending projects for invoicing in a timely manner
Liaising with Technical staff/Technical Manager/Admin effectively

Person Specification:

Accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent organisation skills
Clear and confident communication skills, verbal and written
Good interpersonal skills
Selfmotivated and proactive
Shows initiative, drive and enthusiasm
Ability to use and learn how to use a variety of industry specific software
Experience or knowledge of construction and the industry would be beneficial, but full training will be provided
