Description

The postholder will be part of the Referral Support Service, acting as a point of contact for ophthalmology referrals entering the service for patients registered with North Yorkshire GP practices.

This includes queries from GPs, Optometrists and provider services relating to patients wishing to access referral pathways.

The postholder must have excellent level of IT, administrative and organisational skills, maintaining confidentiality at all times and be able to work on their own initiative, including the processing of electronic referrals and taking appropriate following up action as required.
