Our team is growing We're looking for a couple of experienced, motivated Commercial Utilities Sales Consultants to join our busy energy contract sales team.

This is an exciting opportunity catering to an area of business that is seeing huge growth due to demands on our target customer base - our brokering service is a solution to two of their major concerns, energy costs and sustainability credentials.

As such, there is earning potential for you.

You'll be working to help grow our business by securing new customers across multiple industries and sectors throughout the UK.

You'll also have scope to sell additional services to existing customers via cross-selling to other departments.


You will oversee the end-to-end sales process for bespoke electricity, gas contracts (with emphasis on sustainability) and other complementary services for SME businesses.

You must have a proven track record in delivering excellent customer service and achieving individual and team sales targets.

Go Low Carbon has established a customer-focused B2B multi-utility brokering division that provides unique solutions to UK business leaders.

Our continued success is fundamentally down to our incredible team ensuring our service is based on the best-fit solution for our clients and by offering a bespoke, in-demand service; comparing supplier tariffs not only on price but by their carbon footprint.


As well as saving £Millions for our clients have also avoided tens of thousands of tonnes of carbon emissions by choosing a more cost-effective and greener tariff.

Key responsibilities include.

  • Responsible for new business development (direct sales) of B2B utilities
  • Managing and growing your own portfolio of clients including active lead sourcing to generate new leads
  • Finding and developing partnerships that generate a bank of qualified leads to build a sales pipeline supporting the continued growth of the company.
  • Qualifying leads and assessing prospective customers requirements, securing meetings with prospective clients
  • Presenting the company's services, promoting carbonneutral utility contracts and the company benefits to the client
  • Closing high percentage of deals using a balance of technical and relationship selling
  • Taking ownership of your own portfolio of clients, managing long term relationships throughout full customer life cycle from lead to renewal
  • Ensuring that personal sales targets are routinely achieved directly contributing to company growth
  • Ensuring that customers always have a positive experience with the company
  • Liaising with the administration team to ensure processes are managed efficiently
  • Taking part in exhibitions and other marketing events, working with the marketing team to create effective lead generation campaigns
Key Skills and Experience;

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in B2B utility sales
  • Capable of understanding technical concepts of utilities to explain effectively to customers
  • Proven track record of lead generation and utilities account management
  • Provable sales figures of regularly achieving and exceed targets
  • Professional, ethical approach with a focus on the customer
  • Dynamic, selfmotivated, and proactive
  • Ambitious for personal growth and career development
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Computer literate, particularly with Office 365 & Microsoft Teams

  • Although you will be expected to generate your own leads, Go Low Carbon will also be generating leads from our network of partners, digital marketing and attending networking exhibitions events.

  • The role will be varied and while primarily being a remote/officebased position there will also be opportunities to regularly represent the company at events.
Package;

Contract:
Permanent, 37.5 hours per week.


Salary:
Competitive basic salary plus uncapped commission structure £25-£150K (OTE)


Holidays: 28 days, inclusive of bank holidays. Plus, Christmas shutdown (typically 12 days)
