Our client, a family run woodworking plant in Winchester, is looking for 2 x Bench Joiner's to join their existing team.
This is a great opportunity to join a local company who have built up their reputation over the last thirty years to be one of the leading suppliers of their products in the south of England.
This will be a temporary ongoing position that can become permanent after 12 weeks if you get on wellAs a Bench Joiner you will be required to carry out various duties such as:
- Measuring and cutting materials to the correct size using hand and power tools
- Reading and following drawings/instructions
- Assisting other members of the production team when required
- Operating machinery
- Working with different types of woods on a daily basis
- Previous experience working as a joiner minimum of 2 years
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
The hourly pay is between £13.50 to £14.00 depending on experience, paid weekly in arrears.
