Are you looking for a new chanllenge that can sky rocket you to running your own department?

I have a rare and exciting opportunity for experienced Solicitors to be a part of building their own department in the Birmingham office of a well-established, award winning London based firm.

As a world-leading global network of independent law firms, they have over 100 offices in the international network giving the successful applicants the opportunity to gain exposure to matters you wouldn't usually work on with most UK firms.

The role would consist of taking on the regular influx of work provided by established connections in the West Midlands as well as developing and growing the business with the support of the marketing team.

As a successful applicant you will be confident, ambitious and organised.

The firm operate on a "home grown progression" ethos and would like people who join the firm to want to progress into senior associate and partner roles.

They have also decided againstthe usual typical progression structured, timeframe format for progression and will recognise effort, loyalty and excellence quickly to help you move through the ranks.

With the nature of this role any prior business development or managerial experience would be advantageous but isn't a necessity, they would just like people with the right attitude to help them grow in their new location.


Benefits:


  • Private health care & a season ticket loan are benefits that are offered to Associates
  • Bonus & commission scheme is 15% of the paid costs for the 1st job for any new client introduced to the firm outside office hours and 7.5% for work introduced inside office hours
  • 5% commission for any "introducer client" jobs (i.e. estate agents/IFA etc.)
  • On top of the basic commission scheme, they also have a generous target bonus scheme where, if a team reaches target & achieves 85% collection of costs, fee earners receive the monthly bonus of up to £940 depending on the percentage above team target reached
