THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to join our team and work on an innovative and exciting product that you can be passionate about.
Overall, the Technical Product Owner at Jaguar Land Rover will be responsible for shaping and delivering a compelling backlog of digital features for their connected car platform and eventually a One App that will serve all of our consumers using our luxury products.
You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our products meet the needs of our clients and are delivered on time and within budget.
WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Product Owner, your key accountabilities and responsibilities would include:
- Managing and prioritising the product backlog
- Spending time and focus on reviewing the backlog of development tasks and prioritising what the developers should take on next.
- Learning the market and customers' needs translating our company's strategic plan into the right execution steps, product owners must understand their market and customer needs.
- Serving as a liaison between product and development, set the bigpicture goals and strategy for their product's success.
- Staying accessible to development to answer questions, working stories and other tasks during a sprint.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Essential:
- Understanding of software development processes, methodologies, and practices.
- Good experience in leading product development process from start to finish. This includes developing product roadmaps, creating product requirements, prioritizing features, and managing the development process.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented, nonhierarchical environment.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and participating in Agile ceremonies.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build a deep understanding of stakeholder requirements and work closely with product management teams
- Great problemsolving skills
Desirable skills:
- Degree education or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of SIM subscription management platforms, technologies, and operating principles
