We have a great opportunity for an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team based in Preston.

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join our Compliance function to provide independent and objective assurance regarding all monitoring activities including the implementation of the More2Life ltd compliance monitoring plan.

You will ensure that the monitoring function meets its company and regulatory standards and embraces and embeds the Key Group's treating customers fairly culture.


In 2023 as we focus on consumer duty, we are looking to expand our compliance department to meet the needs of our organisation and ensure we are keeping to our regulations and values.


Main Repsonsibilities of the Compliance Officer

  • Understand, implement, and embrace the Financial Conduct Authority's regulatory expectations as defined and trained by the Key Group.
  • Understand and adhere to all company standards, policies, working practices and procedures.
  • Provide direct support, guidance, and advice to more 2 life and the wider business on compliance matters including FCA, Money Laundering and ICO regulations.
  • Influence and assist More2Life and the wider business to establish and maintain appropriate standards of business practice consistent with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor, assess, analyse, and feedback on the performance of More2Life and the wider business as and where required.
  • Report as necessary to management by reviewing and analysing special reports, MI, miscellaneous information, and identifying trends, making recommendations as appropriate.
  • Build effective, supportive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate and develop the company and regulatory culture.
  • Promote a positive and proactive approach to embedding 'best practice' and with it a forward looking compliance culture.

What we're looking for in a Compliance Officer:

  • Excellent punctuality, timekeeping, and standard and accuracy of work.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  • Able to demonstrate analytical, decisionmaking, and problemsolving skills, achieving best business practice.
  • Committed to quality; highly compliant and able to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to.
  • Proactive; constantly considers process and puts forward suggestions on how to change for the better using initiative as and where appropriate.
  • Highly motivated, accurate, methodical, and able to prioritise effectively, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including questioning and listening together with logical investigative processes.
  • To be able to liaise with colleagues and work supportively and collaboratively when necessary and/or appropriate.
  • Excellent level of attention to detail, scores highly on quality control and experience of working in a fastpaced working environment but where accuracy is essential.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • An appropriate professional qualification is desirable.

  • Previous compliance experience within the Financial Services industry.
