Description

We supply ceremonial robes for all occasions, dress the judiciary (including providing handmade wigs) and ensure that graduates from all over the world look their best at graduation ceremonies and have high quality photographs to remember their day.


Our Waterbeach Photography department is responsible for the editing, printing and framing of a high volume of photographs each year.

Please note this role is 80% warehouse based and 20% administravive based.

We are currently recruiting a high calibre full-time [40hrs


per week:
Mon to Thurs, 0700 to 1300 Fri] Inventory Controller to join our Waterbeach Team. Immediate start is preferred. There is a large amount of overtime available during peak periods.


Main duties will include:


  • Controlling all stock items ensuring suitable stock levels & regularly updating business operating system
  • Manage and maintain the company's material and stocked product inventory / accuracy checks / stock adjustments including stock profiles and stock locations
  • Minimise overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant raw materials to maximize availability of working capital
  • Ensure that goods inward / stock control department is well organised and controlled to sufficiently support production and the goals of the business
  • Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
  • Ensure materials are ready and available for production as and when required
  • Any materials that is late or holding up production is deal with effectively and efficiently
  • Implement improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory, minimise costs and maximize working capital
  • Perform cyclical and perpetual stock checks
  • Ensure works orders are correct and fully completed and that all stock has been allocated to the job correctly
  • Produce daily reports to ensure key critical areas of the stock system are controlled and any discrepancies addressed and resolved
  • Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.
  • To liaise with the Production Manager regarding staffing levels and recruitment
