Overview:
- Title: Children's Residential Support Worker
- Salary: £ depending on qualifications) PLUS plenty of overtime
- Location: Dewsbury
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Full Time
- Sleep Ins Required

The role:
What you will be doing as a Children's Residential Support Worker:
- To ensure that the children are safe and protect them from risks to their health and
- All aspects of care including personal care
- To keep the homely, friendly culture and environment of the homes.
- Keeping on top of household chores such as cleaning & doing laundry
- To be able to deal with challenging behaviours when needed.
- Provide support for the children and young people in the home and promote their
- Maintaining uptodate knowledge of the individual's care plan, guidelines, reward
- Supporting poor behaviour safely and sympathetically.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with the staff, parents, Social
such as Psychologists.
What you will need to be a successful Children's Residential Support Worker:
- You MUST be willing to carry out personal care duties
- Ideally be a driver as you will be required to transport the young people from time
- You MUST be an empathetic and relatable person, have good listening and
- You MUST be able to commute to Dewsbury
