HOURS:
Full-time


WORKING PATTERN:

Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About this opportunity


This Fixed Term Contract role is based in either the Isle of Man or Jersey, Channel Islands and cannot be carried out from another location (although working from home within the Islands is supported).

Due to local employment regulations 5 years residency within Jersey is required for Jersey based applicants.


This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference and join our Islands Finance team on a Fixed Term contract until the end of the 2024.

Our Islands team is responsible for financial control and regulatory reporting across a number of banking platforms and business areas and your day will be varied and challenging.


As a Finance Assistant within our financial control team you will be responsible for supporting the whole team in the end to end production of a range of deliverables, conducting critical oversight and control processes over a core banking platform and providing detailed analysis and reports.

You'll be working closely alongside other financial control and regulatory reporting colleagues.

As a Finance Assistant you'll provide dedicated support to department managers to enable effective operation of the department responsibilities:

  • Performance of daily source system reconciliations
  • Validation checking of daily source system automated reports
  • Production of daily monitoring reports
  • Review, analysis and posting of daily accounting movements
  • Monitoring ledger accounts for inconsistencies, logging queries and producing corrections
  • Assist in completion of department administration including the updating team checklists and resource planners
