Role Summary
The Safety Sales Supervisor will lead a small team with a focus on the sales cycle of safety products. This role includes identifying customer needs, interacting with procurement, production, logistics and service teams.

The role is varied and requires an in-depth knowledge of local and occasional international O&G and Renewable Energy supply chains.

You will be interacting with end user and third-party service providers with a particular focus on the hire, supply and service of height safety equipment and systems.

This role will suit applicants with experience in the entire sales cycle.

You will be comfortable specifying, sourcing, delivery and after sales service & repairs of fall protection and rope access equipment.


What you'll be doing

  • Interacting with end users and service companies.
  • Identifying and qualifying product selection
  • Raise quotes on the company ERP system.
  • Procure and interact with company buyers to source product.
  • Interaction with internal stakeholders' procurement, production and logistic ensuring orders are produced/dispatched as planned.
  • Supplier contact, it is important to the role that an Updated knowledge of product changes, advancements is maintained.
  • Mobilization of Technicians to sites including offshore installations and remote locations
  • Arrange service and repair of fall protection equipment.
  • Raise certificates of conformity and service records on company systems
  • Supervision leading a small team.

Other requirements

  • Expert working knowledge of working at height and confined space entry equipment. Willing to train and stay up to date with product. Legislative and supply chain requirements
  • Working knowledge and awareness of UK & International standards such as UKCA, CE. OSHA ANSI, LOLER, IRATA etc.
  • Product Knowledge. Confidently able to identify customer needs & source product from several different suppliers.
  • Experience of ERP systems
  • Customer Service skills, able to interact, resolve and manage supply chain issues.
  • Supervisory experience. Plan delegate and manage workloads ensuring efficient use of resources and delivery in line with customer service levels and company expectations.
