Role of the Nursery Practitioner (Overview of the Position)

  • To support children as they progress to become school ready. Nurture, care and learn through play.
  • Permanent, 40 hours, part time can be considered
  • Salary: £9.89 per hour
  • Location: Wolverhampton

Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities (Tasks Associated with the Role)

  • Record children's learning through observations. Plan, assess and create reports to share progress with parents and schools
  • Provide exciting and stimulating activities, relevant to your key children's age group and also around the children's interests
  • Be present with the exciting learning methods. Support children in exploring art, help them to express themselves and learn about emotions and influencers within our world
  • Give children courage to take risks, use their imagination and try new experiences
  • Safeguard children from harm. Report and follow through with any concerns you have

Nursery Practitioner Requirements (Expected Proficiencies)

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification in childcare
  • Relevant Maths and English
  • Pediatric first aid (desirable)

Skills

  • Knowledge of the EYFS
  • Able to speak multiple languages (desirable)
