Lunch Time Care Worker - Part-Time

  • SEND School
  • Parttime 2 hours per day
  • Based in Croydon
  • Special Educational Needs and Disability


Empowering Learning is looking for Lunch Time Care Worker to work in a SEND School based in Croydon, between the hours of 10am -2pm.

You will be responsible for overseeing the pupil's lunchtime meals and activities.

This will include supporting childrenwith eating their food, coordinating activities outside, supervising their behaviour and assisting with personal care when needed.


Responsibilities:


  • Support pupils at lunchtime hours
  • Coordinate activities
  • Comfortable supporting pupils with various Learning Difficulties
  • Ability to engage and support pupils
  • Assist with personal care
  • Supervising pupil behaviour

Job Requirements

  • Experience working as a Care Support Worker or Care Assistant
  • Experience supporting young adults or adults with learning difficulties and disabilities
  • Strong communication skills
  • Available 5 days a week
  • Able to commit to hours between 10.30am 2.00pm for 2 hours
  • Able to commit to 36 months
