• Use hand and power tools to assemble pieces of materials into structural members such as frames and cases.
• Use hand tools to cut and fit materials.
• Use hand tools to shape, smooth, and finish surfaces of assembled members.
• Interpret blueprints and design sketches, and mark out dimensions on material with tape measure, pencil, straightedge, and square.
• Schedule time to meet work orders.
• Read work orders to determine dimensions of project.
• Calculate costs.
