College Green Ashley Down Campus.


The Skills for Life and Employment department offers programmes of study designed to support students experiencing barriers to learning into employment, higher level study and /or independent living.

Our students include those with profound, multiple and complex learning difficulties (PMLD), moderate or specific learning difficulties, social, emotional and mental health difficulties and/or physical/sensory impairment.

Our students may have had a previous history of failure and/or negative experiences of education.

We aim to equip them with the skills, commitment, resilience and determination they need to succeed in transitioning into work and/or adult life.

We need well qualified staff to plan and provide ambitious programmes of study that empower students to overcome their barriers and achieve sustainable aspirations.

About us:

At City of Bristol College, we have one goal: to help our students succeed.

We offer the widest range of academic and vocational qualifications in the area, with more than 1,000 courses available from entry to degree level.

We provide education and training to approximately 12,000 students each year. The College is made up of five centres across Bristol and each centre offers excellent, well-equipped, purpose-built facilities.
