    Description

    Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Tutor

    We are currently seeking an engineering professional to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of qualifications, for a well-established training provider.

    The role will require you to be involved in teaching, coaching and mentoring young learners undertaking L3 & L4 qualifications. You will be a time served Mechanical Engineer with maintenance experience.

    You will be based in the centre 3 days per week, with the opportunity to work from home for 2 days a week.

    The Role of Mechanical Engineering Tutor

    To deliver and coordinate the successful completion of all aspects of qualifications delivered at a high-tech training facility. Training learners in the centre towards agreed qualifications in line with relevant awarding body standards.

    We are looking for applicants that are self-motivated, a team player and have a 'hands on approach' to work within this rewarding environment.

    Essential Experience:

    • Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience within Mechanical Engineering
    • Good communication and presentation skills
    • Experience of working with young people

    Qualifications & Competencies:

    • Level 4 (or above) occupational engineering qualification
    • Assessor Qualification- A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent (desirable)
    • Teaching qualification (desirable)
