Description

The Head Office of a continuously growing privately-owned group of diverse businesses is seeking an Office & Accounts Administrator to join their Property team in the rural location of Tilford, near Farnham in Surrey.

This is a Monday-to-Friday office-basedfull-time role of a standard 40 hours per week - 8.30am to 5.30pm with a one hour lunch break.


The role offers a starting salary between £28,000 - £32,500 per annum depending on experience as well as enrolment in the NEST pension scheme and free on-site parking.

The company operates a discretionary bonus scheme as well as work birthday and winter discretionarybonuses, and is enrolled in a carbon offsetting scheme with Ecologi to offset the carbon footprints of its employees and supports a wide number of charity initiatives.


  • Negotiating contracts and obtaining competitive rates for the supply of electricity, gas and water to all groupoccupied sites
  • Approval of all utilities invoices: confirming correct rate, usage and property information to inhouse accounts team, and filing accordingly
  • Coordinating and undertaking regular meter readings to ensure accuracy of invoices
  • Liaising with providers, tenants and thirdparty contractors to resolve any metering or usage queries
  • Managing energy accounts for groupowned properties in void periods between active tenancies
  • Organisation of periodic safety testing of supplies and associated equipment (e.g. EICR, Gas Safe Testing, PAT tests, etc.), and coordination of any subsequent remedial work required
  • Adhoc management of new connections, alterations and disconnections processes
  • Management of the group vehicle fleet to include tracking and coordination of MOTs, services and vehicle tax, the administration of the fleet breakdown cover and insurance claims, and organisation of adhoc maintenance and repair.

Due to the rural location, own transport is essential.
