- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to the legal team.
- Prepare and manage correspondence, legal documents and reports.
- Organise and coordinate meetings, schedules, and appointments.
- Handle client interactions professionally, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, typing, and managing incoming post.
- Work closely with other team members to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
- Stay updated with changes in legal procedures and terminology.
The Successful Applicant:
A successful Legal Secretary should have:
- A good understanding of legal procedures and terminology.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to work with legal technology (courtfiling computer systems, transcription software, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
