Description

The purpose of this role is to provide a professional, effective and cost-efficient procurement, contract and third party risk management service across AmTrust International, delivering to agreed SLAs and KPIs, whilst upholding robust controls and contributing to continuous process improvement.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Procurement process
  • Conduct efficient and collaborative procurement which is compliant with corporate guidelines and policies (advice, tendering, evaluation, award and contract management) and which will result in a high value adding commercial outcome.
  • Ensure compliance with the Third Party Risk Management policy and process in order to mitigate/reduce risk across AmTrust International within the Supply Chain.
  • Negotiate and implement contract and framework agreements which result in both cost and process efficiencies across AmTrust International.
  • Contribute to the teams' performance, ensuring no backlogs occur and that the Director of International Procurement and Senior Procurement Officer are fully informed of all potential problem situations
  • Deal with ad hoc queries, as necessary

Qualifications, Experience, Competence:


Qualifications:

Desirable

  • Qualification in procurement or contract management (e.g. MCIPS, IACCM) or working towards

Experience:


  • Competent user of Microsoft Office products
Desirable

  • Experience of working in the Insurance Industry
  • Previous experience in a SOX Compliant business
  • Experience of using Oracle Cloud ERP
  • Ability to speak/write additional languages e.g. Spanish, French, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian
