Job Purpose

To work as part of a small team creating bespoke furniture and joinery items to an exceptionally high-quality standard - always delivering jobs on time and within budget, meeting customer needs and developing skills through training and self-motivation.

Salary review following successful 3 month probation.


Responsibilities

• Various Joiner/Cabinet Making Activities including Wood Machining, Draw Box Making, Fixing Carcasses, Gluing & Hanging doors, Sanding & Finishing etc, all contributing to the creation of bespoke joinery pieces
• Reading & interpreting technical drawings to create finished product
• Managing ironmongery stocks and keeping accurate stock records
• Keeping Maintenance Records for machines
• Transport loading & unloading where required
• General Workshop Maintenance
• Input in to continuous improvements for the business and workshop process

Qualifications / experience / training provided
Must Have: 2 Years' experience in Cabinet Making / Joinery including college AND work experience

Training and support will be provided in all aspects of machinery usage, bench work and furniture fitting, along with furniture polishing and spraying if this is an area you wish to get in to.

• Enthusiastic and willing to work flexibly including some overtime when business demands

Salary:
£28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
