Our client is a fast growing and progressive leisure and family entertainment operator.

Due to the continued expansion of the business, our client are creating a new people function and looking to recruit a HR & People Development Manager.

The HR&PD Managerwill be part of the Senior Management Team and report directly into the Head of Operations. Currently the business has 7 sites and circa 300 employees and has opportunities for further growth in


Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Build, shape, and implement a people strategy that aligns to the needs of the business.
  • Continuously review people focussed data, identify areas for development and implement processes for improvement. Areas will include staff turnover, retention, leavers, and length of employment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Management Team and take the lead in creating and implementing robust training and development to all levels within the business.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Management Team and take the lead in ensuring that all people related activity is setting the business up for future success.
  • Promote a highperformance culture, ensuring talent is identified and developed to improve the overall performance of the business.
  • Anticipate employee issues before they arise and provide proactive and effective advice and support.
  • Continually review and evolve the reward and benefits schemes to attract, retain and motivate our teams.
  • Implement activities designed to increase awareness of the business and its culture to help grow its profile.
  • Possess an uptodate knowledge and understanding on employment law and manage all HR matters with the support of the Senior Management Team, General Managers, and external specialists.
