This consultancy delivers projects across multiple, niche sectors from residential housing developments, logistics, retail etc.They're on the hunt for a Senior Civil Technician who is based in or around Birmingham to work in their team.
This role would be suited to an individual looking to progress their career as a technician within the industry's leading team where they have an excellent reputation, offering a wealth of expertise in all sectors of the built environment.
The role:
- Lead for the production of 3D models using the Civil 3D modelling software
- Convert 3D drawings into detailed designs
- Collaborate on design models, calculations and sketches with other design disciplines
- Assist in overseeing drawing production and verify work quality from colleagues
- Assist in the review of consultants' and contractors'' design proposals
- Manage the upload and download of documents within the document management systems
- Adhere to BIM protocols and office drawing standards
- Attend and contribute to project and technical meetings
- Attend site inspections and produce surveys when required
