The Role - Grounds Maintenance Operative (seasonal)

We are currently looking to recruit several enthusiastic Groundsman to deal with the maintenance and upkeep of the sports facilities at the University of Hertfordshire.

Full training would be provided and as well as a company vehicle.

This is a full time position and the hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday and it is season from Aoril until the end of October.

Duties/Key Responsibilities

Grass cutting.
Line marking.
Pitch repairs.
Aeration and scarification.
General fine turf maintenance.
To keep the tools clean and damage free, report to manager when necessary.
Ensuring that all visited locations are left in a clean and tidy state.
Maintenance of records relating to tasks performed, materials and equipment.
Promotion of safe working practices.
Reporting any faulty equipment, damage, vandalism, or potential hazard to the Contract Manager.
