TPF Recruitment's client, a highly successful firm of accountants based near Paddock Wood, Tonbridge, Kent is looking for a Client Manager to join them, in a rewarding and progressive career opportunity.

This will be a hands on position where you will beresponsible for managing a varied client portfolio across statutory accounts, management accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT.

You will have increasing responsibility and the opportunity to progress within your career and develop technically in this excitingclient manager position.

Managing a portfolio of own clients
Reviewing all accounting and tax work in the office
Acting as advisor / overseeing on all complex tax matters
Engaging with potential clients and managing communications to potential clients
Completing personal and corporate tax computations
Accounts preparation for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
VAT return preparation and submission
Plus, other ad hoc duties

Requirements:

ACA / ACCA / CTA qualified
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within an accountancy firm
Technically capable of producing statutory financial statements and managing information to a high standard
Experience of calculating and submitting client VAT returns
Experience of corporation tax and personal tax planning

Benefits:

- £50,000+ dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
