Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently looking for a Receptionist to provide a high quality front of house service to staff and visitors.
This position is a full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday working in our Reading office.Key Responsibilities
- To welcome and checkin all visitors to the Reading office
- Issuing security passes and providing Health and Safety information
- Answering internal and external calls in a professional and courteous manner
- To assist staff and visitors with any requests/queries
- Arrange couriers via DHL Order stationery and sundries
- Logging of equipment and stock control of stationery Arrange transport as required for visitors and staff
- Purchasing and reconciliation of invoices
- Recording of IT Peripherals
- Maintain the reception area to a high standard of presentation

Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience in an office environment, or previous experience as a receptionist would be advantageous
- Reliability, efficiency and adaptability
- Excellent telephone manner and friendly customer service skills
- Professional and understanding approach to the multicultural environment
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills
- Selfstarter / proactive approach with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work in team situations with multiple priority management responsibility and ownership of their work
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required
