4pm - 7pm Monday-Sunday (7 days per week) JOB SHARE MAY BE A POSSIBILITY

Our kitchen is looking for a kitchen staff member to join our existing team.

This will require you to be adaptable, hard-working, willing to take direction and to do a little bit of everything that our kitchen needs to operate as efficiently and effectively as possible.

You will assisting with food preparation, preparing simple meals, taking into account any special dietary requirements as and when necessary, washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen, and sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor

Kitchen/Assistant Kitchen Staff Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise dishes, cookware, and utensils
Clean and sanitise all food preparation work stations
Assist in the food preparation process by cutting, chopping, slicing, and washing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients as required
Prepare simple meals to the Menu
Follow all Food Health and Safety requirements at all times
Assist with the unloading of deliveries if necessary, their proper storage and rotation
Communicate kitchen needs to the Managers
Interact with residents as needed
Ensure all equipment is properly used and maintained, reporting any defects, breakages or anything likely to be a health hazard to the Home Manager
Be willing to undertake such training as deemed necessary by the Home Manager

To assist as part of a team in the delivery of quality personal care which recognises and embodies the basic concept of Dignity, Choice, Privacy and Independence.
