    Mental Health Practitioner Job Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in West London. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of adults, we encourage you to apply.

    About the Role

    The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic crisis team, providing telephone interventions, face-to-face assessments, and referrals to appropriate mental health services. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that service users receive timely and effective support.

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver high-quality interventions, advice, and support over the phone.
    • Conduct first-response face-to-face crisis assessments in various settings.
    • Ensure service users receive the most suitable care and treatment following triage and assessment.
    • Refer individuals to relevant mental health services or signpost them to external agencies.

    Requirements

    • Must hold a valid full UK driver's license.
    • Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and potentially night shifts for an initial 3-4 months.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
