Job Overview:

The Cleaning Operative will carry out the delivery of office, communal contact points. This will include compliance, statutory, contractual and company regulations and processes.

The post holder will be hardworking and committed to ensuring the highest cleaning standards are adhered to at all times.

Professional at all times and readily interacting with our client / tenants as required.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Schedule of cleaning communal contact points including handle, rails
  • Surface cleaning of printers/ print pod areas.
  • Meeting rooms surface and contact point cleaning.
  • Regular cleaning of ladies and gents' facilities.
  • Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels, etc.).
  • Surfaces and contact point cleaning of break out areas
  • Vending machine surface cleaning.
  • Monitoring of sanitiser stations.
  • Whilst on site, effectively interact with the client / tenants and where appropriate recognise situations where it will be appropriate to offer assistance / add value.
  • Provide excellent customer service and willing to go the extra mile for our customers.
  • Always consider the work undertaken and wherever opportunities for improvements and working practices exist, put forward suggestions so that 'continuous improvement' is the norm.
  • Ensure that all work undertaken is strictly carried out in accordance with the company's Health and Safety procedures.
  • Carry out any other reasonable and ad hoc duties within the overall function of the job as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Maintain appropriate and professional communication with visitors, colleagues and managers.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for the business, leading by example.

  • Experience as a cleaner.
  • Ability to speak English effectively.
  • Ability to demonstrate maths skills for measuring cleaning fluids / materials.

Experience:


  • Ability to demonstrate the cleaning industry colour coding.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
