Role Description:


Capital Markets - Equities Fidessa OMS Developer - Work with numerous groups within the equities trading to developer new features and changes to existing features for the high touch trading business in EMEA.


The Team:

The team is a highly motivated open and friendly team with a significant amount of existing knowledge and expertise.
The team has a friendly and open outlook with high collaboration to achieving success.
Team is establish, made of 23 people and located in both London and India. The team interacts regularly with both business and technology partner teams worldwide.

The team works closely with equity sales and trading, electronic sales and trading, operations, back office and other areas within the bank.

The role provides the opportunity to further ones knowledge in all aspects of equity trading.


Core Skills:

A degree level qualification.
Slid experience of development using the ION Fidessa product suite in an investment banking environment.
A number of years experience working in the equities trading area with proven delivery track record.
Has worked with and has an understanding of ION Fidessa.
Good JAVA skills
Good knowledge of build tools such as maven.
Excellent analytical skills.
Solid understanding of software delivery life cycle.
Experience working with Agile methodologies.

Secondary (Beneficial but not essential):
Experience working on exchange connectivity projects
Experience working on static data projects
Understanding of trade reporting functionality
Understanding of the agile development process
Understanding of SQL data query language
Experience working with information documentation tools such as wiki's
Understanding/Experience of UML modelling
