Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs and disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to students with a range of SEND, including learning difficulties and disabilities
- Differentiate and adapt the curriculum to meet the individual needs of each student
- Provide support and guidance to students to help them reach their full potential
- Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a holistic approach to SEND provision
- Use a range of assessment methods to track students' progress and inform future planning
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching students with SEND, including learning difficulties and disabilities
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A commitment to ongoing professional development
