We are currently recruiting
A
Certificate Services Officer to work in
Certificates Services at Lancashire Archives
. This is a permanent role, and you will work 37 hours per week.

The role is to

  • Deliver a comprehensive customer service to members of the public and other bodies who wish to access birth, marriages and death records held by the Lancashire registration service Be responsible for the leadership, management, and development of the Certificate Services team

Our service


The Registration Service creates
accurate and timely records of all
Births, Still-Births, Deaths, Marriages and Civil Partnerships and makes provision for couples to
give notice of their intention to marry or to form a Civil Partnership.


Your new role
We are looking for someone who is
customer focussed, confident using
digital resources and committed to effective
team working.

You will have supervision experience with the skills to
manage and
motivate a team of staff and provide
technical advice and support .

You will also need to communicate effectively and have the ability to work independently and
manage resources .
