St George's, Ascot (SGA) is an independent boarding and day school with approximately 270 pupils aged from 11-18 years about 45% of whom are boarders (full, weekly and flexi) and with a Sixth Form of approximately 80 pupils.

We are seeking an Admissions Assistant who will be part of a team of three staff, including the Director of Admissions, who has responsibility for managing the team.


The role requires excellent organisational and time management skills, the ability to work as part of a team, work under pressure and the ability to multitask.


The job incumbent will often be dealing with parents who are anxious or demanding and a high level of understanding, sensitivity and patience is essential along with a degree of humour.


The role involves hours per week, usually during the school working day and exact hours and days worked are negotiable; working over 4 days is however indicative of the requirement.

This is a role that requires working throughout the year i.e. this is not a term time only position.

There will be a requirement to work some evenings or weekends to support School and admission related events for which time off will be given in lieu.
